Delamode has recently completed the sale of its Romanian Contract Logistics Division to Keswick Enterprise Limited. The strategic decision to finalise the sale will allow Delamode to develop and invest in a number of exciting ventures within Romania, as well as developing its core business offering across the Group.
Keswick’s acquisition of the Romanian Contract Logistics division and the company’s joint venture with DHL (DHL Delamode) have been renamed Tibbett Logistics SRL and Tibbett Retail Services SRL respectively – and together will trade as Tibbett Logistics in Romania.
Delamode has been a pioneering presence in Europe for over 20 years. Through its strategically placed network of offices and warehouse facilities it provides a comprehensive range of evolving supply chain services – including road freight forwarding, supply chain management, contract logistics, sea & air freight services and financial services in the form of fuel card, ferry crossing and vehicle leasing.
In response to growing demands for sea and air freight services the company has recently signed a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) joint venture (JV) with CWT Globelink. The 45,000 sq ft facility is fully racked out and equipped specifically for the storage, distribution and value added services of hanging garments - offering customers the reassurance of a clean and safe environment for their garments.
The Group is also seeing significant growth from its operations in the Baltic’s, Bulgaria, Moldavia and Hungary, further demonstrating the group’s position as a market leader in Eastern European forwarding.
